NEW IN Coming Soon in St. George App Under the Apps panel is a new application showing new residential housing and commercial locations in the city. Improved General Plan Map When you open the General Plan Map, a new side panel will open allowing you to toggle the visibility of the individual general plan layers. New Hillside Overlay map A new map displaying hillside overlays is now available under the Maps panel. New options for drawing shapes With the draw shapes tool you can now set the shapes to different colors, size and polygons can be filled or not filled. New options for drawing text With the draw text tool you can now add an underline to the text. In addition, you can combine the bold, italic and underline styles together. Delete individual graphics You can now delete individual graphics on the map by right-clicking the graphic. Bookmark tool Create bookmarks for any location on the map. New options for drawing shapes (??/??/17) With the draw shapes tool you can now set the shapes to different colors, size and polygons can be filled or not filled. New options for drawing text (??/??/17) With the draw text tool you can now add an underline to the text. In addition, you can combine the bold, italic and underline styles together. Improved measure tool (5/12/17) As you draw a line on the map to measure a distance, the length of each line segment is automatically updated on the fly and is displayed on the map and within the measure tool’s panel. When you double-click to finish drawing the line, the total sum distance of each line segment is displayed in the measure tool’s panel. NOTE: It’s a known limitation that this new functionality is not supported on mobile devices. On these devices you are only able to see the total distance after completing the line using the freehand line tool. Tasks menu removed (5/12/17) The What Do You Want To Do? menu has been removed to reduce redundancy in the app as the tasks presented on this menu are available with the global search bar. New apps panel (5/12/17) Links to additional mapping apps is now available in a new panel that is accessible from the main toolbar at the top of the app. Traffic Cameras (12/12/16) A new layer for displaying UDOT traffic cameras is available under the Layers panel. Tap a camera icon to see the current image from the traffic camera. Branding (9/26/16) has inherited the new branding and logo for the City of St. George. Re-Design (9/26/16) has been re-designed to simplify and modernize the app in order to further match today’s web standards. Global search bar (9/26/16) See GLOBAL SEARCH BAR section above. Links to new applications (9/26/16) now links to additional applications for the city recreation and public service features, as well as trails and bus routes. Optionally, append the property unit number (i.e. apartment number) to the end of the address to find a specific unit within a complex.
